40 DAYS OF CONVINCING PROOFS THAT JESUS IS RISEN!

Day 16, 24th April 2023.

AS MY FATHER SENT ME, I SEND YOU.

John 20:21-22.
Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you. And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost.

Jesus spoke peace for the second time upon them because peace is important in our lives. The first peaceHe spoke was for them to feel secure that He has risen and that He was with them. The second peace was for their mission and their mission field. As we are sent byHim we should go knowing that we are safe, He is alive and with us. “As the father sent me, I send you” meaning the way the father empowered Him with the Holy Spirit (Luke 4:18); in the same way, He has also empowered us (Acts 1:8). We are not going for the mission in the field powerless.

PRAYER POINT.
* My father! My father! Send me in you power in Jesus’ name.
