Three years ago we launched our film on DVD in Zambia and it has been sold at Zambeef outlets across the country ever since.

During lockdown across the world, people are being encouraged to stay home. We have made sure that there is global access that doesn't require movement to help us all get through this uncertain time. Your sports fix and weekend watching is sorted - you can rent or buy our documentary on Vimeo. Please spread the word!

Ndhlovus on the move. Are you ready for the stampede?

We are proudly a part of Purple Tembo Media and Atmosphere Nation collaborating to celebrate the 5 year anniversary of our release.

We would like the legacy of our documentary preserving Zambian history to be one of hope, motivation, and a tool for success, through the universal language of sport and the beautiful game: football (soccer). Zambians have bounced back despite the odds and recovered from tragedy before. Though times are hard, we know you can rise.

The Eagles Rising Experience has been created in this very spirit. Our producer Ngosa Chungu wanted to find a way to use this epic story to continue to make an impact. We are thankful to Pompi Fan Page for contributing music to our documentary and continuing to support the film. The second song on Bwana, his new album with Mag44, called Eagles, was inspired by the Eagles Rising experience and samples Dennis Liwewe talking about our indomitable spirit in our documentary.

You can listen to the song here:

It is also available (along with the album) on iTunes, Deezer, Tidal, Amazon Music as well as Spotify.

We are looking forward to seeing you next week as we celebrate the film, enjoy an exclusive acoustic set from Pompi, and you can learn more about the Eagles Rising Experience as well as what more we have in store.

FYI TICKETS WILL BE SOLD ON THE DAY AT THE DOOR ONLY.

We had an elephant because we are elephants! Great memories.

This week, four years ago, we world premiered in Lusaka during Zambia's Golden Jubilee (50 years) Independence celebrations. We are proud to have been able to give back by preserving an important story in the country's history. Football has always been a way for Zambia to really articulate what "One Zambia, One Nation" means.

Get to know about Zambia and its people by renting our film this weekend. This country has grit and its people have such faith. The Zambian National Football Team's epic and inspirational tale of tragedy and triumph in Gabon is one you definitely have to see! Rent our documentary online using your Facebook account on Vimeo for USD4, 2 day unlimited access here:

We will neber forget. Rest in Power Chipolopolo and thank you for the joy you brought us.

Today marks the 25th memorial anniversary of the Gabon Air Disaster. Zambia lost 18 of what is considered the best team to never fulfill their potential in our lifetime the evening of the 27th of April, 1993. Only 3 of the Chipolopolo/ KK11 survived. One of them was captain Kalushya Bwalya.

Without him we would never have been able to auidovisually represent just how crushing this loss was. Can you imagine losing so many people you are intimately connected in one go?! He is the heart of the story we tell in your documentary. He is the reason we were able to honour this tragic history respectfully. We are forever grateful for his invaluable input and support and because of him, we will never forget:
Efford Chabala (goalkeeper)
John Soko (defender)
Whiteson Changwe (defender)
Robert Watiyakeni (defender)
Eston Mulenga (defender)
Derby Makinka (midfielder)
Moses Chikwalakwala (midfielder)
Wisdom Chansa(midfielder)
Kelvin Mutale(striker)
Timothy Mwitwa(striker)
Numba Mwila(midfielder)
Richard Mwanza(goalkeeper)
Samuel Chomba(defender)
Moses Masuwa(striker)
Kelvin Siambe(striker)
Godfrey Kangwa(midfielder)
Winter Numba (defender)
Patrick Banda (striker)

We honour all 30 souls: players, coaching staff and flight crew in the film. You can buy it from Zambeef outlets or rent it online (see our previous commemorative posts).

Rest in Power!
