MUUNDA DECLARES HIS MISSION BIGGER THAN PARLIAMENT AS HE UNLEASHES UNPRECEDENTED WAVES OF GIVING IN CHAWAMA
In displaying influence, generosity and political momentum, prominent Chawama businessman and aspiring Member of Parliament Morgan Muunda stormed the 3rd Anniversary celebration of Lives Changing Ministries International Church with a cascade of donations and development pledges that left congregants in awe.
The atmosphere was electrified as Muunda supported nearly every arm of the church’s mission. He delivered a staggering K10,000 anniversary contribution, added K2,000 for farming seeds in line with President Hakainde Hichilema’s agriculture driven community empowerment agenda, and committed an impressive K35,000 to help the church close in on its K70,000 target for music equipment.
Demonstrating leadership by example, Muunda further reinforced the spirit of giving by blessing the church’s prophet and his wife with K5,000 in appreciation of their work in a constituency grappling with various social challenges. He encouraged an even greater public celebration of faith by urging church leaders to organize a Jesus Christ march past for the entire Chawama community.
The youth choir also found themselves lifted by Muunda’s generosity as he rewarded their ‘angelic’ ministration with K2,000 and added another K3,000 to facilitate refreshments for congregants.
The giving spree did not end with cash. Muunda extended his support through essential supplies, pledging 50kg of rice, 50 chickens, 20 cases of drinks, and 50kg of sugar to bolster the church’s welfare program this festive season.
Then came the biggest moment of the day, Muunda urged the church to secure land and vowed to build a permanent worship centre another bold step in his expanding development blueprint. He also announced plans to modernize Chawama markets and strengthen the partnership between community churches and civic leadership.
In a fiery challenge, he dared the sitting Member of Parliament to match his development efforts, particularly in drilling boreholes to secure clean water for residents.
And in a thunderous declaration of purpose, Muunda made it clear that his ambitions transcend a single political term, emphasizing that he is only seeking to serve as a parliamentarian for five years before moving on to serve the nation in an even greater capacity insisting that leadership must revolve.
