4-NATIONS FINAL VS ZIMBABWE
Copper Queens star Prisca Chilufya says Zambia are ready to beat Zimbabwe in Tuesday evening’s Four Nations Tournament final at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium, Ndola.
Zambia face Zimbabwe at 18h00.
The tournament is Zambia’s final prep for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, which doubles as 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup qualifying.
“Everybody knows what’s ahead because we’ve played Zimbabwe countless times. We know each other in and out,” Chilufya said.
“It’s going to be a good game. The girls are on one page. We know what’s at stake. We’re at home, in front of our fans. We know what to do and we’ll make sure we don’t give the Zimbabwean team any hope.”
Zambia reached the final after beating Kenya 4-1 on penalties following a 1-1 draw on Saturday. Chilufya scored the Copper Queens’ goal.
She’s already focused on WAFCON and World Cup qualification: “We’ve already made our name at WAFCON. The next thing is to bring the trophy home, because we have senior players who will probably play their last WAFCON.”
