FIXTURES RELEASED FOR BOYSโ€™ UNDER-17 CHAMPIONSHIPS QUALIFIER

Fixtures for the TotalEnergies CAF Under-17 Africa Cup of Nations | COSAFA Qualifier 2026 to be staged in Harare, Zimbabwe from September 11-20 have been released.

Two venues will be used in the festival of youth football which also serves as a qualifier for the continental Under-17 finals that are to be staged next year.

The Hearts Stadium and Ngoni Stadium are the two venues to be used, with the final on September 20 to be played at the latter.

โ€ŽNkana Football Club have secured additional sponsorship from First Capital Bank as the 2025/26 season kick off.

โ€ŽNkana Chief Executive Officer Clement Nyirenda says the details of the deal will be unveiled on Tuesday , 19th August in Lusaka.

โ€ŽMopani Copper Mines are the main sponsors of Nkana.

โ€Ž"We will share more details to you the media and the public during the official announcement sponsorship ceremony for Nkana FC and First Capital Bank to be held in Lusaka at FCB Head quarters on Tuesday 19th," Nyirenda said.

โ€Ž"This event will be the biggest sponsorship deal to be witnessed in the Zambian Premier League," said the Manchester City trained football administrator.

COPPER QUEENS SET FOR 10-DAY PRE-WAFCON CAMP IN MOROCCOโ€ฆas Hรคuptle Names Final Squad

Copper Queens coach Nora Hรคuptle has named a strong 24-member squad for the TotalEnergies CAF Womenโ€™s Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2024, which will be staged from 5 to 26 July 2025.

The team, which includes a mix of seasoned internationals and rising stars, will begin local camp on Thursday, 19 June, before shifting base to Morocco for an international training camp set to start on 24 June 2025.

Foreign-based stars, including skipper Barbra Banda, will link up with the team in Morocco after fulfilling their club commitments this coming weekend.

Zambia has been drawn in Group A alongside hosts Morocco, Senegal and DR Congo, and will kick off their continental campaign against the Atlas Lionesses on 5 July at the Olympic Stadium in Rabat.

The Copper Queens will then travel to El Bachir Stadium in Mohammedia for their second and third group matches against Senegal (9 July) and DR Congo (12 July) respectively.
