It is with profound sorrow that the Christian Church Of All Nations’ family shares the tragic news of the passing of Charlie Kirk, who was fatally shot while speaking at Utah Valley University on September 10, 2025. While his life was defined by political activism, it was deeply rooted in his Christian faith. At only 31 years old, he had become a defining voice in modern conservative activism, known for founding Turning Point USA in 2012 and mobilizing young Americans on college campuses with his signature “Prove Me Wrong” table, an initiative that sparked national conversations and controversy.
Charlie Kirk often spoke of his relationship with Christ as “the most important thing” in his life. He shared that he first prayed to become a Christian in fifth grade, and over time, his understanding of salvation deepened. “A gift that grows sweeter with time,” he said, recognizing himself as “a total, absolute sinner” saved by grace. He constantly urged believers not to stay silent but to shine as “salt and light” in society, believing that Christians are called to influence every part of life, such as family, education, government, media, and culture for God’s glory.
He never stopped speaking about the need for revival in America, calling on the nation to repent and return to God, reminding them at the same time that their role was not only to pray, but also to act, to defend truth, and to keep Christ at the center of our communities.
Even though people did not always agree with him, no one could deny his passion for Christ and his conviction that Jesus must be Lord over every part of life. His voice and courage will be missed, but his message lives on: Christ is King. May his death remind us that this world is not our home, but we are just passing through. Home is where our Lord lives, in heaven.
Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, his friends, and all who loved him during this time of great loss. May the Lord comfort them and give them peace.
