SINCE THERE WAS CONFUSION IN THE UPND ADOPTION PROCESS, PLEASE YOU SHOULD HAVE DISQUALIFIED THEM BY NOW, ACTIONAID TELLS THE ELECTORAL COMMISSION OF ZAMBIA

ACTIONAID Country Director Faides Tembatemba says the Electoral Commission of Zambia —ECZ should have disqualified the Ruling United Party for National Development UPND from participating in the upcoming elections following the confusion in the adoption process.

Tembatemba adds that the amended Electoral Process Act gives the ECZ power to suspend or disqualify a political party or candidate where reasons permit.
