Born Mulaza Kaira in Luanshya, Macky 2 is one of Zambia’s most iconic music figures. Rising to fame through Copperbelt’s underground rap scene, he went on to dominate the charts with a unique blend of hip-hop, gospel, and Afrobeat influences.

Known to fans as King Buga, Macky 2 built his name with hits like “Ndimupondo,” “Nangu Banchinge ,” and later mainstream anthems such as “Alabalansa” featuring Yo Maps. His music often carries powerful social messages, blending storytelling with catchy rhythms that resonate across generations.
