Official Statement of Condolences

As a Member of Parliament for Malambo Constituency, it is with profound sadness that I announce the passing of our beloved comrade, Mr. Augustine Banda, Mnkhanya Ward Vice Chairman of the UPND Party. He passed away on 18th June 2025.

I take this opportunity to express my deepest condolences to the family, friends, and the entire UPND community. Mr. Banda's dedication to the party and its ideals was unwavering, and his contributions will be greatly missed.

I invite all UPND party members, supporters, and well-wishers to pay their respects to our fallen comrade. The burial will take place tomorrow.
Let us come together to celebrate his life and legacy.

May his soul rest in peace.
