ZAMBIAN CELEBRITY RECOGNITION 🇿🇲

Pennipher Sikainda is a prominent Zambian journalist, news anchor, and media professional known for her work with the national broadcaster, ZNBC, where she hosts prime-time news broadcasts. Her career began at Radio Phoenix and Muvi Television before moving to ZNBC, where she is a seasoned News Anchor and documentary producer. Sikainda has also served as a Communication and Customer Experience Officer at ZSIC General Insurance.

A multi-award-winning journalist, her accolades include the Best TV Reporting Award from Gender and Media in Southern Africa (GEMSA) and being a runner-up in the SADC Media Awards. She was part of a three-member panel that interviewed former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

Sikainda is the founder and chairperson of Uplift Media, a mentorship organization for aspiring media professionals. She graduated with a degree in Politics and International Relations from the University of Lusaka and studied journalism at Evelyn Hone College and the University of Zambia. She is an alumna of the US government’s Mandela Washington Fellowship.
A devoted Christian, Sikainda is an active member of St. Peter’s Anglican Church in Lusaka. She has cited CNN’s Christiane Amanpour as a major professional inspiration.

Brian Mwale is a distinguished Zambian journalist, broadcaster, and communications specialist with a notable career spanning over two decades. Currently, he is leveraging his extensive media experience in corporate public relations as of early 2026.

He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA), completed in 2025, and a Diploma in Journalism and Public Relations. Mwale is a member of the Zambia Institute of Public Relations and Communication (ZIPRC).

Mwale began his career at Muvi TV (2007-2012), where he became a household name as the host of the entertainment show Dance Fever and later as a news reporter.
