JOB ADVERTISEMENT – JOURNALIST

Position: Journalist
Location: Mkushi, Zambia
Organization: Business Radio Mkushi

Business Radio Mkushi is looking for a passionate and motivated Journalist to join our growing media team. The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering, writing, and presenting news stories relevant to our listeners, with a focus on business and community issues in Mkushi and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:
Reading and presenting news bulletins on air
Reporting and covering local news stories and events
Conducting interviews and preparing news reports
Contributing creative ideas for news and radio programs
Assisting in the production of news content for the station

Minimum Qualifications:
Grade 12 Certificate
Diploma in Journalism or a related field
Must be based in Mkushi

Required Skills and Attributes:
Strong news reading and presentation skills
Good news reporting and writing abilities
Creativity and ability to generate story ideas
Willingness to learn and grow professionally
Ability to work long hours and meet deadlines
Good communication and interpersonal skills
