A volunteering midwife Nurse in Kazungula District of southern province Zambia Bestina Lungu has been applauded for the incredible sacrifice of her time work with community by giving out what it deserves to serve the people more especially the pregnant women around the area.
Bestina Lungu was seen in bombwe village area of kazungula by community member when her and the driver of the Landcruiser got stuck in the mud as they were going for referral within that area which is about 40 km from Kazungula Urban, because of her dedication to duty and looking at how they got stuck in the mud while knowing that the patient was waiting for her arrival so she could be helped, Bestina thought of how hard life for a pregnant mother instead she decided to help the driver in her dawned white uniform to join him in the mud to try and push out the car from the mud unfortunaley they couldn't help it the two alone not untill some helpful villagers joined the and managed to get out. Further more we are reliably informed that after getting the patient when going back they got stuck again and this time around they failed to get it out of the mud and had to sleep in the vehicle for the all night till the following day the rescue team came help them. We wish to recommend people like Bestina who doing it for the community volunteering despite the number of times she has been left from employment list. Continue working hard mama.Help us locate herππ
