LEARN TO SWIM SO YOU CAN BURN BRIDGES
It's been a while since I spoke to the ladies here. This is for you.
The transition from boys to men is somewhat fascinating. At times, your high school sweetheart would be a totally different person when he turns into a man. You may have started off well but they turn into abusive men yet you decide to hold on for old time's sake and try to see the good they had when they were just boys. Sometimes, the fear of burning bridges can trap you in toxic relationships. You stay because you're afraid to swim on your own. But it's crucial to learn how to swim - because times of burning bridges do come unexpectedly.
Learning to swim means cultivating self-reliance. It's about knowing that you can navigate life's waters independently. It's not self-sabotage; it's self-preservation. Burning bridges isn't about cutting ties recklessly; it's about breaking free from what holds you back. Toxic relationships can drown your mental and emotional well-being. So, learn to swim before you burn bridges.
Don't allow yourself to be in circumstances that cripple your belief in love. You deserve a life filled with healthy, loving relationships. And the first step is believing in yourself, your strength, and your ability to swim solo if necessary. You should not be apologetic about how you should be treated - the queen that you are. Compromising for an ungrateful man makes you no different from someone labeled a fool.
Burn bridges when they lead you to nowhere but misery. But do it knowing that you can swim your way to a brighter, happier future. It's your life; take control, and never stop believing in love. Most importantly, don't set yourself on fire trying to keep a man warm.
Have an Awesome Monday ✌️
