Kidist kifile speakes to rest her case and she writes,🇿🇲✍️
I rest my case here;
I believe it is important to address this matter with clarity and honesty.
At no point did B Flow or ZAM make any effort to reach out to Yo maps regarding their concerns. As a professional and as someone who advocates for accountability, it would have been both respectful and appropriate for him to engage us through the proper channels before making public statements.
If the intention was truly to provide guidance or constructive rebuke, there were clear and respectful ways to do so. The decision to instead take a public route without prior engagement raises valid questions about the underlying motive. It shifts the situation from what could have been a constructive conversation into something that appears more performative than solution driven. If you hold one person to a particular standard you should hold EVERYONE to it because if not it starts to feel targeted.
Let me also make this clear: I do not need to be an artist to speak on this matter. Like it or not, I am directly involved. This is not just a creative issue it is a business matter that affects what we are building.
As someone who operates in both the public and business space, I will always stand for professionalism, transparency and mutual respect. We remain open to meaningful dialogue but that dialogue must be rooted in sincerity, not spectacle.
