TAZARA Passenger Train will start running from New Kapirimposhi to Dar-es-Salaam before December this year, Transport Minister Frank Tayali has said.
The Tanzania Zambia Railway Authority - Tazara Passenger Train has been selected as the best train in Central Africa. According to Central African Railways Cooperation branch seating in Malawi, TAZARA's Mukuba Passenger Train came first beating those trains in the Angola, Democratic Republic of Congo, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia and Zimbawe. The awesome Zambian train has a well stocked bar, lounge, clean sleepers, clean toilets and showers and a dining cart. All sleepers have fans and bedside lamps. This is the Mukuba (Copper) Passenger Train recently donated by China.
