How to set your installation wizard after reset of the decoder
🔷Choose your preferred language
🔷Choose the satellite that matches your country or place. If you are in South Africa and neighboring countries then select “IS20”. Use “E36B” if you stay in other parts of Africa.

🔷Select “Manual Setup” for the HD decoder

🔷Set the LNB type to be “Universal”

🔷Select “Scan” then press “OK” on the remote.
🔷If you do not see blue bars then you do not have a signal.

🔷Now you have to wait until your decoder finishes scanning

How to reset your DStv decoder to factory default settings

🔷Press the blue “DStv button” on your remote control.

🔷Then use the right arrow on the remote control to go to “Settings“.

🔷Use the down arrow to go to “System Settings“.

🔷Now use the right arrow to go to the next menu and select “Reset Decoder Settings“

🔷Scroll down using the down arrow to select “Reset To Factory Default” then press “OK” on your remote control

And that's it you have reset your decoder
