Meet Hon. Rodney Sikumba, the current minister of Tourism and Livingstone constituency member of parliament. He was born on the 29th March 1980. He assumed the ministerial office on the 7th September 2021 after being appointed by the current president, Mr Hakainde Hichilema. Hon. Sikumba holds a bachelor's degree in business administration and Arts.

It was on the 8th of may 1996, when a South African parliament was flooded by parliamentarians. Why?, well South African government was adopting a new constitution. Everyone waited for President Thabo mbeki to deliver his legendary speech. I quote him saying 'Iam an African ' everyone clapped and cheered. President further went deep and the rest is history. His speech remains my favorite and educative speech of all times. He articulated his africanness freely without any feeling of Conceit. "at times and in fear, I have wondered whether I should concede equal citizenship of our country to the leopards and the lion, the black mamba and the pencilential mosquito " everyone laughed. the speech is legendary.
