Title: God’s Grace and Divine Appointments

Scripture References: 2 Samuel 4:4 & 1 Samuel 9:1

2 Samuel 4:4 tells us about Mephibosheth, the son of Jonathan, who was lame in both feet. Despite his disability, he was alive because God’s providence preserved him amidst a time of danger. Similarly, 1 Samuel 9:1 introduces us to Saul, a man from the tribe of Benjamin, chosen by God to be king because of his stature and character.

Three things we learn from these passages.

1. God’s preservation is intentional – Mephibosheth survived when many others did not. Even when life seems unfair or difficult, God is preserving you for His purpose.

2. God sees potential beyond limitations – Saul’s outward appearance and Mephibosheth’s disability did not define their destiny. God looks at the heart and plans opportunities for His people.

3. Divine appointments often come unexpectedly – Mephibosheth would later experience favor through his relationship with David, and Saul was unexpectedly chosen to lead Israel. God can place you in positions of blessing and influence that you never anticipated.

Whatever your current limitations or challenges, trust that God is working behind the scenes. Your weakness does not disqualify you; your obedience and faith can position you for favor and divine opportunities.

Sunday service LIVE: First Preaching| Levite Blessings.

Today's Message: Redeeming the Time and Making Use of Your Time.

Scripture References: Ephesians 5:15-16 (NIV), John 9:4 (NIV)

Time is one of the greatest gifts God has given to man. Every person, whether rich or poor, has 24 hours in a day. The difference between a wasted life and a fulfilled one often lies in how each person uses their time. Paul in Ephesians reminds us to redeem the time, meaning we must make the best use of every moment because time lost can never be regained.

Jesus also said, “As long as it is day, we must do the works of Him who sent me,” teaching us that there is a season for everything. Our “daytime” represents our opportunity—our chance to act, to grow, to serve, and to fulfill purpose.

Let’s look at M.A.N — Morning, Afternoon, and Night Time:

Morning Time: This is your season of beginning—when you are full of energy and dreams. Use it to learn, grow, and build your foundation in God.

Afternoon Time: This is your season of productivity. Use your strength wisely, work hard, and walk in purpose.

Night Time: This is the season of reflection and rest. It’s either a time of peace for those who worked wisely or regret for those who wasted their time.

Beloved, don’t waste your time on things that don’t add value to your destiny. Invest your time in prayer, purpose, growth, and service to God and others. Every second counts in the journey of life.
