SEAN BROWN OFF TO CHINA AFTER INTERNATIONAL SKILLS VICTORY
Zambia’s rail vehicle technology champion Sean Brown has left the country for China following his outstanding performance at international skills competitions where he emerged winner.
Mr. Brown, who is a Mechanical Engineering Technologist in the Hitachi Trucks Section at Kansanshi Mining Plc, departed through Kenneth Kaunda International Airport this afternoon.
The Northern Technical College (NORTEC) Alumni represented Zambia at the 2025 Rail Vehicle Technology Skills International Friendship Competition and the 2026 World Skills Competition trials held in Changchun, China, where he won first place.
Mr. Brown’s achievement has placed Zambia on the international stage in rail vehicle technology skills and highlighted the potential of the country’s young professionals.
