Warm greetings to you all.
I am Philip Banda, CEO and Founder, and I want to personally share with you a brief update regarding the Mathematics Science and Research Support Center Zambia.
Our core mission has always been to foster a culture of academic excellence and to provide essential support to students, educators, and researchers across the fields of mathematics and science throughout Zambia.
Recently, we celebrated a significant milestone: the appointment of our new leadership team. Mr. P**e Mulenga has been appointed as our new President, and Madam Chisomo Sithole has stepped into the role of Vice President for the 2026 term. This marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for the center, and I am incredibly optimistic about the future under their guidance.
However, I also want to address some important practicalities. While the center's mission and purpose are clear and steadfast, we must maintain transparency about our operations. As many are aware, we operate out of Lusaka, and navigating the current climate—including challenges such as those mentioned regarding load shedding—is part of our daily reality. This can affect our communication channels and the seamless ex*****on of our intended programs. We are actively working on solutions, including exploring alternative energy sources, to minimize these disruptions and continue our vital support without interruption.
Our commitment to the students and educators of Zambia remains our top priority. We believe that by strengthening foundation of mathematics and science education, we are contributing to the sustainable development of our nation.
I urge you to keep a close watch on our updates and to remain engaged with the center. We are planning several initiatives for the upcoming months and look forward to sharing more about our roadmap for 2026 in due course.
