🇿🇲 CONGRATULATIONS TO THE 40 NOMINATED MEMBERS OF PARLIAMENT 🇿🇲
I wish to extend my heartfelt congratulations to the 40 Members of Parliament who have been selected under the Proportional Representation system to serve in Zambia's Fourteenth National Assembly.
This new chapter represents an important step in broadening representation in our National Assembly, particularly for women, youths and persons with disabilities.
I also wish to congratulate His Excellency President Hakainde Hichilema and all those who contributed to the implementation of this new constitutional framework.
The significance of this opportunity will ultimately be measured by what it delivers for ordinary Zambians.

🇿🇲 MY MESSAGE TO THE 40
Congratulations once again. This is not simply a title; it is a responsibility.
You have been given an opportunity to represent voices that have historically faced barriers to political representation. Women, young people and persons with disabilities will be looking to you to demonstrate what meaningful representation can achieve.
My humble advice is:
DO NOT MISUSE THE TITLE.
DO NOT USE THE POSITION FOR PERSONAL GLORY.
DO NOT FORGET THE PEOPLE WHO MADE THIS REPRESENTATION MEANINGFUL.
Instead, use this opportunity to WORK, LISTEN, LEGISLATE, REPRESENT AND DELIVER.
Let your presence in Parliament be felt through meaningful contributions, accountability, community engagement and policies that improve the lives of ordinary Zambians.
To the young MPs in particular: YOU ARE CARRYING THE HOPES OF AN ENTIRE GENERATION.
Show that young people can be trusted with responsibility and can contribute positively to national development.
To the women: continue opening doors for other women and girls who aspire to participate in national leadership.
To our colleagues living with disabilities: your representation is a reminder that disability should never be a barrier to meaningful participation in national affairs.
🇿🇲 Congratulations once again to all 40 Members of Parliament.
May you serve with WISDOM, INTEGRITY, HUMILITY, COURAGE AND ACCOUNTABILITY.
The people have given you a platform.
