and join forces once again to shine a light on one of the pioneers of Lephalale House, a joyful, melodic style of house music born in Limpopo, South Africa, in the late 2000s.
Lephalale House later evolved into Bolobedu House, laying the foundations for what would become Lekompo, now one of Southern Africa’s biggest musical movements.
This EP pays tribute to Spenza Man, whose iconic tracks had a whole generation of South Africans dancing and helped shape one of the country’s most influential electronic music scenes.

🚨 ‘Gravel Road’ EP by Spenza Man is now out!

PSSNGЯ 🇿🇦🇫🇷 and Promesses join forces once again for the release of a new EP by South African artist Spenza Man, pioneer of Lephalale House.
Born in the late 2000s in the Limpopo province of South Africa, this style of house music takes its name from the city of Lephalale, considered the birthplace of the movement. Lephalale House then evolved into Bolobedu House, a scene that left a deep mark on South African music and helped bring major artists such as King Monada, DJ Call Me, Master KG and Makhadzi to prominence. Over the years, this movement continued to evolve, giving birth to Lekompo, now one of the most popular genres in Southern Africa. Its success has long since crossed South Africa’s borders, carried by landmark tracks such as “Warning” by Shandesh feat. Shebeshxt and “Wa Inama” by Kharishma, DJ Angelo & Buddy Sax feat. DJ Janisto. With this EP, PSSNGR and Promesses aim to shine a light on Spenza Man’s iconic tracks, which had a whole generation of South Africans dancing, while paying tribute to a visionary artist whose work helped shape one of the most original and influential electronic scenes in South Africa.

Unyaka Lo is Tupla Double 0.7’s new banger, a track that could spark a new sub-genre of Amapiano: acid amapiano. Featuring vocalist Tshela RSA, the track introduces TB-303 basslines into the amapiano fabric, threading them alongside strings that evoke the golden era of Chicago House in the spirit of Larry Heard and Frankie Knuckles. Whistles punctuate the drops with precision, while Tshela RSA’s vocals ride the groove with an irresistible, almost hypnotic pull. Late-night and contemplative, yet built for the dancefloor, this is Tupla once again pushing the boundaries of the genre, and this time, he may be rewriting them.

Tupla Double 0.7, one of Pretoria’s leading Amapiano artists, is back in 2026 with Kganya, a word that means Brightness, and a promise of things to come. On this new album, he steps into a more spiritual, jazz-tinged world, blending deep house textures with the upright bass grooves that have long defined his sound.
