President Mnangagwa to Cap Over 2,500 Graduands at NUSTโ€™s 31st Graduation Ceremony

The National University of Science and Technology (NUST) is hosting its 31st Graduation Ceremony this Friday in Bulawayo, with Chancellor President Emmerson Mnangagwa presiding over the proceedings and will confer degrees to 2,504 graduands.

This milestone event carries special significance, with 70 percent of the graduating cohort drawn from Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) fields aligning with the countryโ€™s industrialisation and modernisation goals under Vision 2030.

In line with the national Education 5.0 policy ,the graduation reflects the universityโ€™s growing role in producing graduates who are not only academically equipped but also capable of driving innovation, industrialisation, and entrepreneurship.

Of the total number of graduands, 44 percent are female ,while 56 percent are male ,highlighting continued efforts toward gender balance in higher education. Additionally, 241 students will graduate with distinctions a testament to the academic excellence nurtured at NUST.
