A Chipinge girl (16) died on Tuesday after she was run over by the rear wheels of a moving Nissan UD40 truck she was trying to disembark from.
Eunice Madhlayazi (16) of Mwanyisa Village, Chief Musikavanhu, Chipinge died on the spot.
The incident happened around 11:30am near the eight kilometer peg along the Checheche – Rimai dust road heading towards Rimai Business Centre.

Some 352 heads, deputies and schools inspectors, attended a Wellness Workshop held at Nemanwa Primary School in Masvingo District on Saturday.

A Mutare man died on Tuesday after he was hit by a goods train whilst walking on a railway line.
Morelife Manyawi (24) of 8157 St Joseph Park, Mutare, was hit at a railway crossing at Jeff Road in Mutare and died on the spot.
Manicaland Acting Police Spokesperson, Assistant Inspector Wiseman Chinyoka confirmed the accident to Chipinge Times.
