Africa has for 6 centuries been depicted in a size much smaller than it is on the World map. On September 4, 2026, the United Nations voted to adopt a resolution that rectifies this error and produce a World map with the actual size of the continent on an accurate scale. In the current map, Africa is the size Greenland. The resolution sponsored by Togo saw 164 countries voting in favour. The United States is the only country that voted against the resolution to dispose of the inaccurate map of the 16th Century. The new map is based on the 2018 Equal Map Design. 6 countries abstained from the vote. Togo argued for the need to correct the error and said such an error had effects on education, business and other issues like culture. Togo's resolution came from the African Union. Togo also said that the rectification of the problem is merely scientific and not political. https://x.com/TheMirrorMsv/status/2096149196503961602

TWENTY-SECOND WEEK IN ORDINARY TIME, YEAR II.

FIRST READING
“The Lord will disclose the purposes of the heart.”

https://www.masvingomirror.com/catholic-daily-liturgical-guide-04-09-26/

A reading from the first Letter of Saint Paul to the Corinthians (1 CORINTHIANS 4: 1 - 5)

Brethren: This is how one should regard us, as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God. Moreover it is required of stewards that they be found trustworthy. But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged by you or by any human court. I do not even judge myself. I am not aware of anything against myself, but I am not thereby acquitted. It is the Lord who judges rue. Therefore do not pronounce judgement before the time, before the Lord comes, who will bring to light the things now hidden in darkness and will disclose the purposes of the heart. Then every man will receive his commendation from God.
