Govt Allocates Major Funding to Key Sectors in 2026 Budget

The Government of Zimbabwe has allocated significant funds to boost economic growth in the industry, mining, tourism and agriculture sectors in the 2026 National Budget.

Speaking during the presentation of the 2026 national budget, Finance and Economic Development Minister Professor Mthuli Ncube said the budget prioritises key productive sectors as Government moves to accelerate economic growth and create more jobs.

Rapper Maskiri Arrested Over Alleged Goat Scam in Chitungwiza

Zimbabwean hip-hop artist Maskiri has been arrested in Chitungwiza following a police sting operation after he allegedly failed to deliver imported Boer Kalahari Red goats worth US$1,500 to a United States–based buyer.

According to the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP), the complainant, Tonderai Chisoro, reportedly transferred the money through Mukuru in three separate transactions after engaging the rapper who recently ventured into goat farming on social media.

Bus Express Logistics Clarifies Allegations Over Reported Lost Parcel

Bus Express Logistics has issued a formal clarification following a recent complaint by a client who claimed her parcel went missing while being transported from South Africa to Zimbabwe.

The company emphasised that it takes customer concerns seriously and maintains strict procedures to ensure parcels are safely handled and accurately accounted for.

Bus Express Logistics encouraged all clients to make use of its official offices when sending parcels to avoid misunderstandings or unverified transactions.

“Our customers should approach our offices for any transaction and also obtain receipts as proof so that we can take full responsibility regarding any issue,” the company said.

The logistics provider outlined the locations of its authorised offices, reminding customers that these are the only points where legitimate payments and receipts are issued.

“In South Africa, Bus Express Logistics operates from Bosman, Newton, and Powerhouse, while in Zimbabwe, its official office is located at Roadport in Harare,” the company added.

The company stressed that using these official channels ensures proper tracking, accountability, and customer protection in the event of any dispute.

Bus Express Logistics reiterated its continued commitment to offering reliable and transparent parcel services to both Zimbabwean and South African customers.

African Apostolic Church founder Archbishop Paul Mwazha has died at the age of 107, the church confirmed on Thursday.
The announcement was made by the African Apostolic Church General Secretary, Bishop Jeshua Mhizha, who released an official statement confirming the passing of the long-serving spiritual leader.

Bishop Mhizha said, “I regret to inform you that Our Archbishop, Paul Mwazha of Africa, our church leader, has just passed on today, November 20, 2025. He has departed from us but in spirit we are together with him. More information will be released in due course. Kudzai Jehovah, Kudzai Jehovah!” The church is expected to provide further details on funeral arrangements and official proceedings in the coming days.
