We pay so much attention to the dating stage, put all our effort as not to mess up and lose our loved ones, exhaust all our energy and resources towards the WEDDING DAY, but forget about life after the 'vote of thanks'. We put zero affort in the 'happily ever after' / the forever part, the 'everyday with him/her' part..starting a family and micro managing each other, etc..the through death do us apart, the 'for poorer, for riches' anthem we loudly sing when drunk in love.. Yes, that part... When it's reality we tend to forget about it all, WHY??.. because we never took time to CONSIDER it during the 'I love you more than I love myself' moments (sigh)..... Couples, how is life after the altar? Moments just after leaving the magistrates courts? How are you all navigating this TOGETHER TILL WE Die thingy as soon as you touch down from honeymoon??
I have created the series and am inviting couples in this photo journey so as to tell their stories, encourage and instill confidence and belief into the marriage institution; that, there's indeed, life after I do!
