your purpose
It is so sad that in the modern world we live in, some people do not have a purpose or do not know their purpose.Then the bible clearly states that a man without knowledge or purpose shall perish.
If Joseph did not know his purpose, it was going to be a hassle or impossible for him to achieve his goal of serving as a Governor.
The following is 1 of the major draw back to our success as men.
1.Lust/Sexual appetite
Joseph was a man of integrity and understood that 1 way to attain his goal was to flee from temptation.Joseph managed to control/starve his sexual appetite.The vision was so clear that nothing would stop him from becoming the Governor of Egypt.Joseph through the power of the holy spirit managed to conquer 1 of the hardest thing a man can do -that is refusing sexual advances from a woman.
the end Joseph emerged victorious and was appointed as the Governor of Egypt.
Lesson
As a young man lock in and learn to forgo early gratification.Some stuff might seem appealing but there are used to destroy you by the devil.Focus on your goals and pray for the spirit of discernment.
If Joseph had succumbed to the pressure and engaged in sexual activity with Pharaoh's wife, he was not going to be a prominent figure in the future.Learn to say no and do not let anything stop you from becoming invincible or unstoppable.
When you feel like you are now giving attention to what is going to destroy you, do the following:
1.Distract yourself -read self development books, engage in other activities that do not push you towards sexual sin.
2.Redirect-convert your negative energy into positive energy.
