Cricket Kumusha/Cricket Ekhaya. ZC board member,Ronald Chibwe, donated kit and equipment to the school where Edmore Mutetwa is doing a sterling job.

Back in September 2001, South Africa visited Zimbabwe for a two-match Test series and three ODIs. Pictured from left to right are Dr. Ali Bacher, the late Hansie Cronje, the president of Zimbabwe, the late Robert Mugabe, Andy Flower, and the late Peter Chingoka. In this match, Andy Flower achieved remarkable scores of 142 and an unbeaten 199. It was also Hamilton Masakadza's second Test match after his impressive debut century; he came close to another one, being out for 85 in the second innings.

Today we ask- What if Tawanda Muyeye had remained in Zimbabwe, would he have scaled to the level he is now playing for Kent? A few days ago he scored his maiden T20 century in the Vitality T20 Blast. As we look ahead to the two-match Test series between Zimbabwe Cricket and South Africa, we remember the exploits of John Nyumbu. 11 years ago he took a five wicket haul on his Test debut. He denied Faf Du Plessis a hundred by dismissing him on 98. Zim went on to lose the match but he had announced himself on the big stage by also taking key wickets of Alviro Petersen and AB de Villiers.
