Who Is Nisha Ts?
Real Name & Origin
Born Anisha Tashinga Shonhiwa on 12 February 2001 in Chegutu, Zimbabwe, she’s now based in Harare and performs under the stage name Nisha Ts .
Musical Style & Beginnings
Emerging in 2022, Nisha Ts has quickly made her mark through energetic Afro-Dancehall/Zimdancehall tunes and expressive lyrics. She began honing her craft at age 16 in school and church choirs, and recorded her debut song, “Shot”, at Gunshot Records in Chegutu .

Breakthrough Track
Her major breakthrough came in March 2024 with “Kutsamwa Kune Labour”, a collaboration with Saintfloew that quickly gained massive popularity across Zimbabwe .

In December 2024, she won the Best Upcoming Act award at the Zimbabwe Reggae Dancehall Merit Awards .
