75-year-old Gogo Viola Mavhiyo shocked many in Zvimba when she outshone more than 150 youths, scoring 100% in her provisional driver’s licence lessons.

The programme, spearheaded by Deputy Minister Mercy Dinha, also offers skills in welding, catering, mortuary science, hairdressing, and more.

Gogo Viola says: “I may be old, but I will use these skills to better my life and encourage the young to do the same.”
