"Murume wako itori brother yangu ndosaka ma surname azofanana" this was the defense of a woman who was informed to pay US$8000 in damages by the High Court. The woman (Natasha) was alleged of having an affair with a married man (Martin) that led to the eventual dissolving of a 20 year marriage. The wife who filed the lawsuit had assistance of neighbors who testified that the two where seen together and Martin was introducing the small house as his wife.

The husband had informed his wife that his ancestors wanted him to take a second wife and thus began the distancing in their marriage. The small house could not provide DNA evidence to support her claim that she was related to the husband. The court established that the lawsuit was valid and that the smallhouse had caused damage to the institution of marriage through the adulterous affair. The wife revealed she started seeing expensive gift receipts and encountered various call logs between Natasha and her husband.

The court declined the husband's claims that the marriage was dissolved due to the wife's juju as this was baseless. In essence the evidence provided outweighed the defense claims which where not backed up by evidence thus US$8000 in damages was awarded to the wife who suffered significant emotional and financial harm due to the affair.

HARARE – Customs officials seized US$80,000 in cash from a businessman at Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport just before he was set to board a flight to Tanzania. Victor Magigwana, 32, was intercepted for allegedly failing to declare the money as required by law. He has been charged under the Exchange Control Act and was granted US$300 bail by Harare regional magistrate Jesse Kufa on Monday.

According to prosecutors, travellers leaving Zimbabwe must obtain approval from the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe (RBZ) if they are carrying more than US$2,000. The National Prosecuting Authority reported that on March 14, authorities received a tip-off about Magigwana's alleged intentions to smuggle cash. Airport security was alerted, and after he passed through without declaring the money, he was detained just prior to boarding the Tanzania Airlines flight. The Zimbabwe Revenue Authority retained US$80,000 and returned US$2,000 to Magigwana, which is within the legal limit for export.

“Na Naija Boys Full US Army Now” — Man Explains Why Many Nigerians Are Joining

A social media user sparked discussion after reacting to a video of Nigerian men serving in the United States Army, saying, “Na Naija boys full US Army now.” 🇳🇬✨

Another man responded by explaining that while many Americans see joining the military as a waste, immigrants often view it differently. According to him, anyone living in the U.S. with a Green Card can join the army, receive a signing bonus of up to $50,000, and even apply for citizenship after about six months.

He added that the military can also sponsor college education, and not everyone in the army sees combat — many serve in roles like logistics, engineering, or catering.

A Brother like this...A suspect who had been on the run for four years after the notorious ZB Bank US$2.7 million cash-in-transit robbery has finally been arrested.

His capture reportedly came after his brother—whom he had trusted to keep his share of the stolen money—blew through the cash and later alerted the police to his whereabouts.

Mbingas targeted as authorities go after unexplained wealth

HARARE - Those living lavishly but can't explain their source of wealth are in trouble.

Deputy Prosecutor General, Chris Mutangadura says the National Prosecuting Authority of Zimbabwe is targeting unexplained wealth with a simple message : "If you can’t account for your wealth, we are coming for it. We are mainly targeting gold dealers and smugglers.”

Mutangadura told State-run media that authorities have seized and frozen more than US$51 million in illicit wealth over the past year and has vowed to crack down on unscrupulous gold dealers and smugglers.
Mutangadura said that the NPAZ remain committed to asset recovery, declaring that the authority is now prioritising the transition of preserved assets into final forfeiture.

“Our initial target for final asset forfeiture orders was US$45 million; we successfully secured US$32,3 million. Our immediate priority now is to bridge this gap by converting all current preservation orders — totalling US$18,9 million — into permanent court orders. We really need to ramp up our recovery numbers by turning those temporary seizures into actual forfeitures,” he revealed.

He warned individuals with unexplained wealth that the net is closing in on them.

Burkina Faso imports 710 high milk producing cows from Brazil just to reduce the importation of milk.

All the cows are pregnant and will be birthing some soon. The Girolando cow produces at least 100 liters of milk a day. This means in a year they might be producing over 1.2 million liters of milk

Burkina Faso is setting up a factory to produce milk at home and at a cheaper rate for its population. They believe so much in home products and they are building their economy in a way that greatly reduces imports.

This will increase the economic growth of our nation. President Emmerson Mnangagwa is proud of Dr Kudakwashe Tagwirei who is working tirelessly to lift the economy of Zimbabwe 🇿🇼. E.d is creating team that will defeat poverty totally. Just like Trump who is working with Elon Musk, Jeff Bezoes , Mark Zuckerberg and Bill Gates.
