Innocent Kupakwashe Shindi, popularly known as Mask Off "Ayaya" , is a Zimbabwean afrobeat musician, songwriter,singer and a content creator. He was born on March 28, 2005, in Bindura, Zimbabwe.His mother is Zimbabwean, and his father is unknown.

Mask Off's passion for music began at a young age, but he officially entered the Zimbabwean music scene in 2024 when he featured on the remix of "Lockdown " by Atenda Chinx the doughter of the late Cde Chinx Chingaire. In 2024, he released his breakout single, "Tinashe Mutarisi," which showcased his lyrical prowess and unique style.

In 2024 he gained further prominence with hits like "Mai Mwana" and "NGANO," featuring Guruwan which became synonymous with his brand. In 2025, he released his debut studio ep, "MEMORIES EP," which received critical acclaim and earned his several nominations, including at the Shamva Bindura Music Awards. The ep was later followed by a deluxe edition, featuring additional tracks and collaborations.

Mask Off has also built a strong presence outside of music, working with other young artists at his record label "MØå studios". He is known for his vintage fashion sense and afrobeat mucian personality, which have made him a prominent figure in the Zimbabwean afrobeat and entertainment scenes.

Throughout his career, Mask Off has been associated with Nixon Tavonga Shindi’s record label, Tavonga Media Group "TMG", but in 2024, he announced his departure to pursue independent ventures.He continues to inspire as one of the leading afrobeat male musicians in Africa, consistently breaking barriers the Zimbabwean afrobeat music industry.
