COMING SOON 📘 | The Political Portion of Me: Thinking and Acting Politically by Dr. Tinashe Gumbo (PhD)

We are excited to share a powerful story; one that begins in Mberengwa, where Dr. Tinashe Gumbo’s older brother, Hon. Joram Gumbo, served as MP for decades, and continues through years of personal courage, conviction, and deep reflection.

In this book, Dr. Gumbo opens up about his own political journey; how he lifted his head and stepped into politics during some of Zimbabwe’s most intense and defining times, serving under the late Morgan Tsvangirai.
It’s an honest and insightful narrative about purpose, service, and reconciliation especially as the Gumbo brothers’ story comes full circle.

For anyone interested in Zimbabwe’s social, economic, and political evolution, this is a must-read.

We wholeheartedly congratulate Dr. Tinashe Gumbo PhD on this incredible achievement, and thank him for trusting Phoenix Publishing with his work.

The book will be available soon!
To reserve your copy or make inquiries, please get in touch with Dr. Gumbo directly bia email:

Every now and again, you meet extraordinary people; the kind whose words, energy, and creative spirit just click with yours.

That has been my experience with parutu, the brilliant author behind an upcoming book that has completely captured my heart and imagination: The Proverbs Wives.

Set in the misty mountains of Chimanimani, this story weaves together culture, mystery, and the intertwined lives of unforgettable women. It’s one of those rare works that doesn’t just tell a story; it transforms you as you read it.

Bringing Kudzai into the Phoenix Publishing family has been one of the most fulfilling experiences of my year. Watching her vision unfold and helping to shape it into what it has become has been pure magic.

To Kudzai: thank you for trusting me with this beautiful project, and for allowing me the honour of walking this journey with you.

The Proverbs Wives will be available for purchase soon.
If you’d like to pre-order or be among the first to get your copy, please DM

And to all the writers, if you have a story that deserves to be told, Phoenix Publishing is always open to helping you bring it to life.
