Founding Daily News editor Real Deal with Geoff Nyarota has died. The veteran journalist rose to fame during his stint as editor of The Chronicle when he published stories exposing corruption involving high profile people using their influence to buy new vehicles from Willowvale Motor Industry and selling them at exorbitant prices. He later fell out of favour with the shareholders of The Daily News. In 2014, Geoff chaired the Information and Media Panel of Inquiry - IMPI which was the first study on the Information sector.
