We want to thank all those who applied to study Mass Communication/ Journalism with the Harare Polytechnic School of Journalism and Media Studies in 2021. Prospective students have been shortlisted and will be writing their proficiency/ writing test next week. If you haven’t received a message from us, it means that your name was not shortlisted. We received a lot of applications this year, but due to space, resources, our training approach that emphasize on practical-based learning and the Covid-19 pandemic, we can only accommodate a limited number of students per each intake.

This serves to notify 2021 Mass Communication applicants that shortlisting of candidates is in progress. Shortlisted applicants will be notified sometime next week. Please note that being shortlisted does not guarantee you a place. You will be required to sit for an entry examination. Your performance in the examination will be used as the basis for your being considered for the course. In light of the above, as soon as you are notified that you have been shortlisted, you need to prepare for the entry examination.
