CABS has warned members of the public against fraudulent online loan advertisements falsely claiming to offer CABS loans.

The bank says official loan applications can ONLY be made through:

CABS emphasized that it does not process loans through unofficial social media pages, WhatsApp numbers, or unverified individuals.

The bank has also urged customers not to share personal or banking information with unauthorized platforms or accounts posing as CABS representatives.

The financial institution encouraged the public to use official CABS channels only and to contact verified platforms or visit the nearest branch for assistance or clarification.

Unlike the previous public-facing tool, which allowed users to view their electricity tokens without friction, the ZUMS portal now forces customers into a mandatory registration process just to check their token balances. This new registration wall has been described as unnecessary gatekeeping, particularly for users in low-bandwidth or rural areas.
