Sunshine Family Studios is a recording studio/label that was founded by Shelton Masiwa aka Shelthang/Sunshine in the year 2007. Shelthang established the studio and worked with various people including Tynash his brother who assisted with daily running arounds of the studio. The studio boasts of many hits and has assisted a number of artists to rise from upcoming artists to superstars. Sunshine studios has 2 awards for best Zimdancehall producer.

Sunshine family studios @19- A journey of resilience, purpose and sound.

19 years ago, Sunshine family studios was just a dream, born in a tiny room space in Dzivaresekwa. The road wasn’t easy. We faced countless challenges, from limited resources to the harsh realities of the streets and the dark shadows of drug and substance abuse that have affected so many in our industry.

But through faith, focus and the power of music, we kept going. From that small room came hits that moved the nation and stars who inspired a generation. Every beat , every lyric, every voice that passed through our doors (Dzivaresekwa, Kuwadzana extension, Belvedere , Haydon park) became part of a bigger story, one of hope , transformation and perseverance.

As we celebrate this milestone, we are not looking back at our journey, we are standing up for the next generation. This celebration is also a call to our youth; Believe in your dreams, stay focused and above all say No to drugs and substances.

Join us as we celebrate Sunshine, Sound, Struggle and Success.
