Chicken Inn Football Club, TelOne Football Club and new moneybags Hard Rock Football Club are reportedly closing in on at least three Dynamos F.C players as the Harare giant's new executive delays contract negotiations.
With goalie Prince Tafiremutsa, youngster Vusa Ngwenya and defender Issaka Mohammed already having left, Dynamos could just lose hard tackling midfield enforcer Shadreck Nyahwa, goalkeeper Tatenda Makoni and even captain Emmanuel Jalai who are all wanted by the three named clubs.
At least eight players are out of contract.
Chicken Inn, which will be under the tutelage of coach of the year Tonderayi Ndiraya, are understood to have set aside a blank cheque for the players.
Houses and signing on fees above US$20,000 have also been assured if they are to sign.
Chawonza is said to have been directed to "talk to them" but the talks have not yielded anything.
The sticking point has been payment of allowances and winning bonuses owed to the players over the past year.
Bhora Afrika understands each player is owed over US$5,000.
With other teams having already started their preseason training, Dynamos, with a US$2.5 million purse could still find itself in the middle of another crisis and possibly a worse of season compared to last year.
