*Everlasting Arms of Jesus*

No one “likes” to go through hard times nor do they wish for a “bad day,” but it is through life’s toughest battles that you’ll receive some of your biggest blessings. Without the hard times, you would never know your need for a Savior. When everything’s going smoothly, you’re focused on the great time you’re having, celebrating with friends, and living “the good life.” But when trouble knocks on your door, it sends you crying for help to the only One who has the power to help you! It is while on your knees that you are humbled and you realize just how much you need God in your life.
Through all the heartache and pain you’ll draw closer to God - listening for His voice, sharing your sorrow, and learning to trust Him fully, knowing He will help you and will do what’s best for you. The Bible says in Psalm 91:14-15, “ ‘Because he loves me,’ says the Lord, ‘I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him.’ ” And in Psalm 34:19, it says “A righteous man may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all.” Learning “real-life character-changing” lessons doesn’t come from having a boatload of money, lots of friends, or fame. It is when the rent is due, the baby is sick, you lost your job, or your friend betrayed you that you’ll lean on God the most! Leaning on the everlasting arms of Jesus is a great place to be!
Psalm 18:2 NKJV - The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

Psalm 40:1-3 NKJV - To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David. I waited patiently for the LORD; And He inclined to me, And heard my cry. He also brought me up out of a horrible pit, Out of the miry clay, And set my feet upon a rock, And established my steps. He has put a new song in my mouth--Praise to our God; Many will see it and fear, And will trust in the LORD.

Psalm 9:9 NKJV - The LORD also will be a refuge for the oppressed, A refuge in times of trouble.

📖 _In Him was life [and the power to bestow life], and the life was the Light of men. 9. There it was—the true Light [the genuine, perfect, steadfast Light] which, coming into the world, enlightens everyone._

🖊️ He is the light of sun and moon and star. He was the spiritual light that in symbol and type and prophecy had shone upon Israel. But not to the Jewish nation alone was the light given. As the sunbeams pe*****te to the remotest corners of the earth, so does the light of the Sun of Righteousness shine upon every soul. _“That was the true light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.”_ The world has had its great teachers, men of giant intellect and wonderful research, men whose utterances have stimulated thought, and opened to view vast fields of knowledge; and these men have been honored as guides and benefactors of their race.

🖊️ But there is One who stands higher than they. _“As many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God.” “No man hath seen God at any time; the only-begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, He hath declared Him.” *John 1:12, 18.*_ We can trace the line of the world's great teachers as far back as human records extend; but the Light was before them. As the moon and the stars of the solar system shine by the reflected light of the sun, so, as far as their teaching is true, do the world's great thinkers reflect the rays of the Sun of Righteousness.

🖊️ Every gem of thought, every flash of the intellect, is from the Light of the world. In these days we hear much about “higher education.” The true _“higher education”_ is that imparted by Him _“in whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.”_ _“In Him was life; and the life was the light of men.” *Colossians 2:3; John 1:4.* “He that followeth Me,” said Jesus, “shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.”_

On this wonderful day,we Praise You Lord of lords.We Glorify Your Matchless and Peerless Name for Guiding and Protecting us and our children during this hard times..Psalm 30:4.May you Cover them from peer influence and misdirected excitement.They are Your Own,we are merely stewards.Remember once again a family managing a patient,an elderly one,a stubborn drug- addict and even those that are bereaved.Remember the Youths serving You in church,some are jobless,some struggling with secret issues,some have tough decisions to make,they are Your Own.Take care of us,as Covid-19 re- emerges with more zeal,is our prayer in Jesus Name.Amen.
