Confession time: Hiring bad engineers is the tech world's version of dating someone who can't fold fitted sheets.

Here's the ugly truth:

Buggy code mountains? Say hello to sleepless nights and project deadlines flying out the window.

Communication black holes? Prepare for endless meetings deciphering what they ACTUALLY wrote in that commit.

Team morale sinks like a stone: Watching a perfectly good project drag its feet is enough to crush anyone's spirit.

But hey, it's not all doom and gloom! We've all been there, and here's the silver lining:

It makes you appreciate the rockstars even more: Those brilliant engineers who save the day become your coding superheroes. ✨

You learn how to interview like a boss: Next time, you'll sniff out red flags like a bloodhound with a code review. ️‍♀️

It builds character (sort of): Like surviving a bad vacation, you come out stronger and maybe a little cynical.

So let's raise a glass (of bug-free coffee) to all the hiring mishaps! May they fuel our determination to find the next coding unicorn.

**Feel free to share your own bad engineer stories in the comments! We're all in this together. **

P.S. Anyone got any tips for spotting them early? Asking for a friend...

P.P.S. This post is not meant to be disrespectful to any individual engineers. We all have bad days and learning curves. It's just a lighthearted (and hopefully relatable) take on a common challenge in the tech world.
