Beloved, many have missed their divine season of elevation in business not because of lack of skill or opportunity, but because they failed to behave well in the presence of greatness. The Bible says in Proverbs 18:16, “A man’s gift makes room for him and brings him before great men.” But it is behaviour that sustains him there.
You may carry a powerful idea or divine mandate for business, but without the right attitude and conduct, destiny helpers will walk away. Joseph in the Bible is a perfect example, his behaviour, humility, and integrity made room for him before Pharaoh, despite being a prisoner. Behaviour matters!

In a significant move that underscores ongoing tensions over international policy, the United States has informed the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) of its decision to withdraw from the organisation.
The US Department of State announced the decision yesterday, stating that continued involvement in UNESCO is not aligned with the national interests of the United States. The decision to leave reflects disagreements over the global agenda and Israeli relations.
“UNESCO has increasingly prioritised a globalist, ideological agenda that is at odds with US interests. We can no longer support an organisation that undermines our policies and promotes divisive causes,” said Department spokesperson Tammy Bruce in a statement.

A groundbreaking study by North-West University (NWU) has explored how legally prepared South Africa and Zimbabwe are to navigate a just energy transition away from coal.
Conducted by LLM student Tariro Mary Tingini as part of her postgraduate research at the Faculty of Law, the study offers a critical comparison of the climate-related laws and policies in both countries, evaluating how they support or hinder a fair and inclusive shift to renewable energy.
Coal remains the dominant source of energy in both countries, but the study notes that legal reforms have begun to signal a shift. Tingini’s research delves into whether these policy changes are sufficient and whether they consider the socio-economic realities of affected communities.
