Manicaland Environmental Patron Leads Clean-Up Campaign in NYANGA

The Manicaland Environmental Patron, who is the wife of the Minister of State for Manicaland Provincial Affairs and Devolution, Hon. Misheck Mugadza, was today in Nyanga for a clean-up campaign held in Juliasdale.

The campaign focused on promoting environmental cleanliness, proper waste management and encouraging communities to take responsibility for keeping their surroundings clean.

The initiative brought together local stakeholders and community members in a collective effort to create a cleaner and healthier environment in Juliasdale. OPC Manicaland

HON. SUPA MANDIWANZIRA SPEARHEADS CONSTITUENCY DEVELOPMENT FUND EMPOWERMENT

Nyanga South Constituency Member of Parliament, Hon. Supa Mandiwanzira continues to drive efforts to empower vendors across the constituency.

Speaking at Juliusdale on 12 September 2026 during the disbursement of Constituency Development Fund (CDF) support, Hon. Mandiwanzira said empowering vendors also creates a ready market for local farmers, as vendors purchase agricultural produce directly from farmers within their communities.

“By empowering vendors, we are also helping farmers with a market because vendors buy farm products directly from farmers locally.”

The latest disbursement marks the second phase of funding, aimed at strengthening small businesses and improving livelihoods across Nyanga South Constituency. Vendors from London Stores, Juliasdale, Nyamhuka, Sedze, Mapako, Troutbeck and Tombo have so far benefited.

The initiative is expected to contribute to increased economic activity at community level by supporting vendors while creating stronger links between local producers and markets.

VILLAGE BUSINESS UNIT COMMISSIONED IN RUCHERA

Nyanga South Member of Parliament, Hon. Supa Mandiwanzira, has today officially opened a Village Business Unit (VBU) at Ruchera in Ward 16, Dzirutsva Village 15B.

The initiative, brought by His Excellency the President and spearheaded in the constituency by Hon. Mandiwanzira, is aimed at ensuring that communities at the lowest level benefit directly from Government programmes while promoting entrepreneurship and business development within villages.

The Village Business Units are expected to bring services and economic opportunities closer to rural communities, empowering villagers to participate meaningfully in local economic development.
