Shelton Kasere Lubimbi, a 34-year-old Grade 5 teacher at Kwite Primary School in Mangwe, took his own life on Thursday, July 3, during school break time. His body was discovered around 10 AM by a colleague who was shocked by the scene. The only clue left behind was a piece of paper with contact numbers for his relatives.

The police confirmed the incident and reported that Lubimbi's body was taken to Plumtree Hospital mortuary for a post-mortem examination. Inspector Chiratidzo Dube, spokesperson for Matabeleland South police, urged the community to take mental health seriously, emphasizing the importance of open conversations and seeking professional help when needed.

Lubimbi's death has raised concerns about mental health, and his relatives are now left to grapple with painful questions about his actions. The authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding his death
