Brand Narrative:

At CPS, we believe in lighting that spark early. Ignite is our commitment to early childhood education that is rooted in culture, language, and literacy. From the first word sounded out to the first sentence written, Ignite books kindle the flame of knowledge — slowly, gently, powerfully.
Through vibrant characters like Mufaro and Gugu, familiar contexts, and structured literacy progression, Ignite offers more than books — it offers a head start on the journey of learning. Whether in Mathematics, Social Science,Science and Technology, Indigenous languages or English, each page is designed to build confidence, comprehension, and a love for learning.

Ignite is the spark that starts a lifelong fire.
Developed by Zimbabwean educators and rooted in African identity, Ignite is CPS’s early learning brand for children in ECD A to Grade 2. From literacy to numeracy, each book is crafted to build foundational skills through a blend of local culture, modern pedagogy, and joyful storytelling.
With every page, Ignite kindles confidence, fuels curiosity, and lights up young minds.
