Applying 100–150 mL of IcON Zinc (150–225 g of elemental zinc) by foliar application can give your crop the edge in dry conditions. Zinc plays a key role in root development, helping the plant strengthen its root system to better access existing nitrogen in the soil, even when moisture is limited. It also helps the plant tolerate cold conditions.
It’s a valuable tool to keep the crop going until there’s enough rainfall to move urea deeper into the profile where it becomes available to the plant.

More results are in from the Sonic Essential trial site at Ardmona. It's important to note that the soils are already sufficient in all key nutrients. A targeted seed and foliar application, costing no more than $14/ha, has proven to be a worthwhile investment—delivering a yield increase of 1 t/ha.
