At just 14 years old, Beto found himself surrounded by a growing dance music scene in his hometown Cali, Colombia. With huge enthusiasm and drive he made his way into the rave and club scene of the early 2000’s attending regularly to watch the activity at the DJ booth which had a stellar rotation of international DJs. The next reasonable step was to get his hands on the decks which was possible thanks to the emerging DJ school, Mix Masters. Here is where all the basic learning happened and a lifelong career in the Audio Industry began. Through a few years of grinding the decks Beto moved to Bogota, Colombia’s capital city. This led to a huge discovery of music genres which had evolved from early days of Trance and Techno to more sophisticated sounds like House, Trip Hop and Jazz vibes inspired by the Hotel Costes, Cafe del Mar and Buddha Bar albums.
The big move to Australia happened in 2008 followed by a diploma in Music Technology and becoming a part of Perth’s live music scene. Nowadays Beto spends his time DJ’ing at weddings, corporate events and venues and working with talented musicians from the live sound mixing side.
Due to his long career and extensive experience in the music and entertainment business, Beto is no doubt an invaluable addition to your event or venue. Always with a smile and a “can do” attitude, expect the highest level of professionalism and quality in his DJ and Sound services."
