Escape and breathe the air of new places ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡บ ๐ŸŒŠ โœจ

I had a great time exploring Nelson Bay during last long weekend. I went out right at golden hour ๐ŸŒ…for a walk ๐Ÿšถโ€โ™‚๏ธto a Shoal Bay and luckily the conditions were prime!
I took this shot of a guy done with surfing ๐Ÿ„โ€โ™‚๏ธ with my telephoto lens ๐Ÿ”ฌ on Canon 70D ๐Ÿ“ธ and came out so nicely.

Make it to a point to sit outside & look at the stars every night for a week. If you canโ€™t do it all the nights in a week, try it for 3 or 4 nights. Take a few minutes while you read all of the great lists on brightdrops & sit on a deck, balcony, porch or even go out away from city lights if you can.!

My first ever shot of milky way taken a week ago. I realised that you donโ€™t fancy high end cameras or expensive lenses to take beautiful shots. What I feel is you need a vision, dedication and patience thatโ€™s all what makes a good photographer.!

This shot was take on my Canon 70D with Rokinon 14 mm f/2.4. This is composited image from foreground shot at f/3.2, ISO 1600, 15 s & sky with 6 exposures shot at f/2.8, ISO 3200, 90 s.
Post processed in LR, blended & focus stacked in PS.

The Moon ๐ŸŒ– is the first milestone on the road ๐Ÿš€ to the stars ๐ŸŒŒ.!

Yesterday the moon ๐ŸŒ– really looked so beautiful & incredible.!
I shot 5 different sets of images, 1 long exposure shot of foreground (opera house) & 4 shots of different exposures for moon. I then focused stacked & merged these images in photoshop.

Being able to see the stars in city lights is amazing but shooting them is even more incredible.!

Itโ€™s not easy to shoot stars in city lights, but thanks to my , I was able to take this shot.
Itโ€™s a blend of two different shots taken with different exposures of 30s for stars and 15s for light trails.

This is a beautiful time right after the sunset when cityscapes really comes to life during this time.
During this time, the artificial lights in buildings and structures will really begin to take over the scene with some remaining natural lights that interacts with your subject in scene.
This phase of twilight is certainly the most difficult for taking pictures, but it can still be very rewarding.
