🧩 Disability Pride Fest 2025 – Free and inclusive
Join Disability Pride Sydney for a bold celebration of pride, identity and disability rights.
📅 Saturday 26 July 2025
⏰ 10am to 4pm
📍 Sydney Town Hall
This is a proudly disability-led and disability-run event featuring:
- Keynote speaker Alastair McEwin
- Performances from Elly-May Barnes, Deb Roach and Dean Nash
- Panel on disability history and the fight to end sub-minimum wages, featuring Rosemary Kayess, Shaun Bickley, David Solomons and Abigail Boyd
- Emily Dash film screenings and poetry by Olly Moore
- Zine-making, drama and poetry workshops
- Makers market, protest space, inclusive cinema and more

The event is fully accessible, with Auslan, audio description, quiet spaces and sensory-friendly environments. Allies are welcome.
This year’s theme: No shame. No apologies.
