Icelandic recor label bbbbbb was established in 2016 by Bjarki to fill the gap in the Icelandic dance music scene.

Main goals of the labels are: promoting innovation of music that necessarily can not be categorised or labeled as ‘’house’’ or ‘’techno’’ etc. We aim to feed the underground, providing quality music - sometimes ‘’techno’’ principally for dance, but also highlight the style of electronic listening music. We strive to demonstrate to the rest of the world that Icelandic electronic music can be entire

ly original. In the main, we plan to disregard and resist the rules of techno music. We want to show that you can make music without newest equipments or expensive machines (RIP TR909). The label focuses on finding new talents that share similar vision about sharing art. Another of our aims is to help reintroduce the concept of thoughtful design in our releases and employ a friendlier attitude to music, believing in a united approach, we would like to see family of artists and supporters who share the same versatility and understanding of community.
