Big news!! Due to overwhelming popularity and amazing community feedback, the Canada Banner Display will remain on the North Side of Bridge Street — after the Art Expedition installation from High St to Townline Rd.
And that’s not all — the remaining Canada banners will be raised throughout the town, so keep your eyes peeled as you explore Carleton Place this summer! 👀🇨🇦

We love how these banners celebrate our Canadian spirit and hometown pride — and we’re thrilled you do too.

As promised – it’s here! The 2025 Art Expedition has officially begun in Downtown Carleton Place!

Walk down Bridge Street and enjoy an absolutely beautiful outdoor showcase of public art — 45 talented local artists of all ages are featured on lamp standards throughout the core until this fall!

Seen here: 7-year-old Ronan Bray proudly holds his original artwork beside his banner displayed on Bridge Street — one of the eight youth featured artists in this year’s show! 👏

We are so excited to share this incredible display of public art with you. A heartfelt thank you to our amazing community partners:

It was all smiles today at located at 17 Moore St - a new addition to the neighbourhood. Generous delicious portions and friendly service is the standard for ‘V’, his family and Chris who has deep roots in Carleton Place.
