It was an epic weekend of riding over the weekend as the 2025 Canadian Wakesurf & Foiling Nationals presented by SWS Marine Group were held on Lake Koocanusa.

A number of East Kootenay riders participated in the event this year with several rounding out their weekend with medal winning performances!

Columbia Basin Trust has released its Annual Service Plan Report!

In 2024/25, the Trust generated $101 million in revenues from investments in hydropower, commercial real estate, and other holdings. This allowed them to deliver $76.1 million in direct benefits to Basin residents and supporting more than 2,670 projects across 56 active programs.

Riders from across Canada are set to hit Lake Koocanusa for the 2025 Canadian Wakesurf & Foiling Nationals, presented by SWS Marine Group, on September 6–7 at Koocanusa Village!

This year brings the return of Foiling alongside a full lineup of Wakesurf divisions, from Juniors to Pros. Expect big air, backflips, and incredible tricks all weekend long.

Registration is open until September 2nd!
